Wayfarer Destiny 2 - Review
Wayfarer Destiny 2 - ReviewWhen you buy Wayfarer Destiny 2, you're not only buying an advanced version of one of the most popular games ever made, but you're getting the newest version of the latest and greatest video game. So what's new in Destiny 2?Well, Destiny 2 is an entirely new game. While the original game was released two years ago, it has been rewritten to take advantage of the advances that new technologies have brought to the table, including the cross-platform game play of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It also benefits from many graphical enhancements that developers have brought to the project. The game is very much the work of Bungie Studios, a studio that has won numerous awards for its first-person shooter series. The result is a game that takes a good look at what made the original Destiny stand out, while developing around it. Now it's built around a vastly improved third-person view, much of which seems almost like a special effect in and of itself. It's a highly-det ailed, highly detailed world. The narrative-driven campaign is much more ambitious than the initial one and offers a completely brand new story, with a new setting and even a new villain to fight. The real hero here is the protagonist, Cayde-6, an unknown fighter who's working for a corporation called the Vanguard. You'll be able to get your hands on Wayfarer Destiny 2 just about the same time as the rest of the world does, and you'll certainly have plenty of time to start playing it at that point. It's certainly a great deal of fun to do so, and if you've already enjoyed the original Destiny, then the sequel is likely to be worth your time. One of the biggest additions to Destiny 2 is a combat system that's much more robust than before. All of the action in this game takes place in real time and requires some skill to pull off, so it's not a game for the average player. If you want to hone your skills, however, then this is a fantastic choice.Of course, Destiny is an ongoing game, and it's built upon a large framework that will keep coming back. While this latest entry may not offer a tremendous amount in terms of new content, there are plenty of enhancements to the core mechanics that will keep you coming back for more. The fact that Bungie is still making these games at all shows how far their team has come. There's plenty to see and do in Destiny 2, and it's fun to see where they took it and where they left it. Whether you want to feel the thrill of a new game or if you're looking for a reason to step back and recharge for another round, Destiny 2 is definitely worth the download.
